Timothy Kennedy has been certified as a SPECIALIST in the practice of workers' compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Section on Workers' Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Mr. Kennedy obtained his law degree (Juris Doctor) in 1992 from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey, where he had the very great honor of becoming a Law Review Editor, a distinction recognized by other lawyers as the mark of a truly ambitious and hard-working attorney. Tim was also a dean's list scholar and worked in the coveted position of research and writing assistant for the internationally known constitutional law expert who drafted the constitution of the Russian Republic in 1991 and forty other national constitutions world-wide. Tim also obtained perhaps the most impressive and immediate success of anyone in his law school class, securing a summer associate position with a large and prestigious Philadelphia firm after just his first year of legal study.
Graduating in 1992, Tim immediately took and passed the Pennsylvania Bar examination and was admitted to practice. By that time, he was no longer interested in leading or even joining the herd pursuing large firm practice. Instead, Tim was committed to representing injured individuals and creating great outcomes for folks who were injured at work only to see their rights abused and manipulated by insurance carriers and savvy employers. Tim set out to take on the insurance companies and slick operators, as an advisor and litigator fighting for individuals -- or better still, avoiding fights by arming his clients with superior knowledge of the "games" forever being attempted by workers compensation defendant employers and insurers who try to put protecting profits over doing right by their employees who suffer harm.
For the past thirty-plus years, Tim has concentrated his practice on representing injured workers, persons who have suffered serious personal injuries, the families of those who have been killed under wrongful death circumstances and the survivors of persons who have died due to the effects of work-related injuries or illnesses.
