Andrew P Baratta

Andrew P. Baratta (Andy) is a partner in the firm. In addition to having obtained seven figure recoveries for his injured clients, Andy is regularly retained by medical providers around the country who treat injured accident victims and who find themselves targeted by insurance companies with false accusations of fraud.

Andy believes his mission as a lawyer is to fight for every resource needed by our injured clients to get their lives back. Ensuring full and unfettered access to quality medical care of their choosing is a critical component of this responsibility. Unfortunately, in the never-ending quest to devalue injury claims in order to earn obscene profits, insurers have devised sophisticated schemes to undermine the credibility of injured victims by attacking the doctors who treat them with phony allegations of “predetermined” or “non-individualized” treatment. On behalf of doctors all over the country, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Kentucky, Nevada, California, Idaho, Washington, Texas, and Minnesota, Andy has aggressively fought these schemes in cases involving every major insurance carrier, securing tens of millions of dollars for doctors unfairly targeted by them.

Andy is Philadelphia born and bred, attending St. Joe’s Prep High School, the University of Pennsylvania, and Temple Law School. Andy is a proud former member of Penn Basketball teams that went undefeated in the Ivy League his junior and senior seasons and were nationally ranked. Andy was twice voted by his teammates as the team’s Most Inspirational Player and, in his senior year, was honored by the Philadelphia Big 5 sportswriters with the Harry Merrill Sportsmanship Award.

After graduating from Temple Law School, Andy served as an Assistant District Attorney in Delaware County for three years where he prosecuted all manner of crime, from Juvenile delinquency up to and including Capital Murder. After leaving the D.A.’s Office, Andy spent a year working for a mid-sized center city firm specializing in civil litigation matters before joining his brother Tony in January of 2002.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Andy is an accomplished writer. His first novel, What Color Justice, was published in 2005. Andy is also the founder of Phuture Phantoms Youth Basketball, a youth basketball program for kids in the Phoenixville Area School District.

Andy’s happiest accomplishment in life is his family. His wife, Noelle, is a high school guidance counselor and they are the proud parents of Deacon and Kayden. Andy and his family make their home in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
