Alfredo M. Sergio

Mr. Sergio’s practice includes the representation of multinational, national and regional life sciences, medical device, manufacturing, services and entertainment companies and nonprofits in a variety of employment and commercial matters.  Mr. Sergio regularly represents business clients on a national basis in employment matters related to race, disability, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, sexual harassment and retaliation.  Mr. Sergio also represents business clients in matters involving commercial contract disputes, business torts, restrictive covenants, and UCC claims.

Recent matters include:

• Representing a major multinational bio and pharmaceutical sciences corporation in employment matters in jurisdictions throughout the United States.
• Counseling a medical device manufacturer regarding employment issues during a significant reduction in force.
• Successfully negotiating settlement of contentious litigation stemming from a bitter dispute among principal stockholders of a closely-held corporation.
• Authoring a successful summary judgment motion resulting in a significant monetary award for a commercial client.
