I am an experienced family law attorney and litigator with almost 16 years of family law litigation experience.
I strive to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with my clients in order to provide them with a clear roadmap of where their case is and where it is going. I believe in empowering my clients with the knowledge they need to regain a sense of control over their lives and their future. I firmly believe in working with my clients to educate them about their legal options so that they can make well-informed decisions about the course of their case, knowing and understanding how those decisions will impact their lives. I work diligently to help myclients gain a sense of control and security about their future as they navigate this very challenging time in their lives.
Prior to establishing Gibson Family Law, I worked for a nationally renowned law firm based in Philadelphia, where I gained invaluable expertise in complex financial matters impacting child support, spousal support, alimony, and property division
I graduated in the top of my law school class from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. While in law school, I competed with the school’s mock trial team in regional and national mock trial competitions and was a member of the school’s Journal of Contemporary Health Law & Policy. I was an active member of The Council on Professional Conduct during all three years of law school and served as the Chair in my final year. I graduated cum laude from Loyola University of Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor concentration in the Psychology of Crime and Justice. Prior to attending law school, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.
Whatever issues arise in your case, you can feel confident that I have the legal expertise to advance your legal position and also the compassion to support you through, and educate you about, the entire divorce, custody, and support process.
