Best move I made

Divorce is a tough situation for all involved. For me, the only good thing about my divorce was my lawyer, Kate Coverdale. She is extremely professional and dedicated, always answering my calls and emails promptly. But, what I will never forget, is that every time I left her office, I felt better abo...ut my situation and myself. I can't tell you how important that is. When my divorce was over, I felt as though "thank you" wasn't enough. I highly recommend Kate Coverdale.

Excellent Family Law Attorney

Kate Coverdale is an incredibly well respected attorney with the firm of Zlock & Coverdale. Kate was the primary attorney steering my complicated divorce. Specifically, she was the main person who analyzed and managed the financial analysis of the marital estate - which was the source of the most c...omplexity and controversy. Kate did a phenomenal job in organizing, communicating, planning and strategizing throughout the entire process. All along, she addressed all of my emotional concerns and fears, providing a very solid basis of trust and a calm approach to all interactions. Her professionalism and controlled demeanor was unfailing, and allowed for our team to consistently maintain the higher ground, and garner the respect of the court. Her preparation of all documents and her understanding and ability to persuasively present our side made me feel happy to be in such competent hands. She was able to expertly interact with the many other people involved with the case - such as business accountants, business lawyers, and business evaluators. At every turn, I felt that she was able to foster a sense of a unified front, and that we had a strong position supported by multiple people. After several years of working with Kate, I would have to say I am very pleased with how well represented I was throughout my divorce and equitable distribution process. No one can control the often belligerent, unfair, and irrational things that the opposing side chooses to do. Yet, in the context of many unbelievable and disappointing attacks from the other side, Kate maintained the course and persistently pointed and steered me in a direction that proved to be a successful one. She never compromised her professional standards of conduct, and at the same time never appeared weak or passive. If not for her and the firm, I personally would have not been able to maintain a level head and make clear decisions on my own. Kate allowed me to vent, and then she was able to be a buffer that removed the emotionalism and reactivity. In short, I am extremely pleased with the final outcome of the divorce - being able to step back from it and see it more objectively.

Issues after divorce

As in most divorces, ex-spouses can be contentious and stubborn long after the divorce decree has been issued. Ongoing issues such as child support and medical reimbursements can remain difficult sources of conflict. Kate was extremely competant, reassuring and meticulous in fighting hard for my r...ights. She was readily available to me at all times and gave 110% effort on my behalf. As such, I have always been pleased with the outcomes she has obtained. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone I know.

I highly recommend Kate!

I can not say enough about Kate Coverdale. Not only is she a knowledgeable, professional, smart, trustworthy attorney but she is also an extremely compassionate person. Her guidance through a very difficult divorce has been invaluable. Her knowledge of the law enables her to set realistic expectat...ions which was extremely helpful during such a stressful process. She is levelheaded, calm and reassuring with a level of confidence that is well deserved. Not only is Kate quick to reply to emails and texts, but her staff is extremely courteous and responsive as well. Kate is an excellent listener and I always felt like she understood what I was hoping to achieve as a final result. I truly believe Kate did everything she could for me throughout this process and I can rest easy knowing I had the best representation available. I would highly recommend Kate Coverdale!!
