Hollie Beth John

Ms. John is an education attorney, partner and founding member of The Education Lawyers, Jacobson & John LLP, where she provides statewide representation of parents of students with special needs in a variety of matters. Ms. John was previously a shareholder in a Bucks County, Pennsylvania law firm that represented school districts throughout the state, where she spent almost a decade of her legal career. Ms. John’s legal career also includes service as Law Clerk to The Honorable William J. Furber, Jr. of the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County, and as Assistant District Attorney for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

Ms. John is a native of and currently resides in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, where she lives with her husband and two children. She received her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law.

Ms. John has been an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Legal Services for Exceptional Children Committee, where she served as Vice Chair, and most recently, as Chair. In her roles as Vice Chair and Chair, she was involved in planning one of the Commonwealth’s preeminent legal conferences in the area of special education law. Ms. John lectures throughout the state to parents, educators, and attorneys on special education and other education law related topics.
