OUTCOME: The Government applied for a career offender designation and a sentence of 92-115 months. After an evidentiary hearing I sucessfully defeated the career offender enhancement and secured the statutory minimum sentence of the client.
Conspiracy to Distribute Narcotics, Money Laundering, Forfeiture.
OUTCOME: Government applied for a sentence of 18-24mo after a lengthy evidentiary hearing client was sentenced to only 90-days in jail.
Client was charged with Interstate receipt of stolen property.
OUTCOME: After briefing the matter as amicus counsel to the Missouri Supreme Court, the conviction was reversed and the client was freed on a writ of habeas corpus.
