Todd Anthony Johns

Todd A. Johns is a personal injury and criminal defense lawyer in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Area and founder of Todd Johns Law, LLC. Over the past 20 years Attorney Johns has garnered numerous successful jury verdicts and settlements for personal injury clients.  Attorney Johns has also fought for the rights of those accused of a crime, from traffic tickets, to the most serious criminal charges. Attorney Todd Johns has established a remarkable reputation among clients, opposing counsel, insurance companies, District Attorneys, magistrates and trial court judges from all over Northeastern Pennsylvania.  

Background:

In 1991, Todd A. Johns graduated Magna Cum Laude from Keystone College with an Associates Degree in Communications. While at Keystone, he was named to the Dean’s List, was a memebr of the Student Senate and presented with the American Student Government Award.

Todd then attended West Chester University, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science in 1994. He was named to the Dean’s List, served as President of the Law Society and was named Outstanding Graduating Senior in Political Science.

In 1997, he earned his Juris Doctorate from The Dickinson School of Law. 

After law school, Todd served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Lackawanna County Court of Common Pleas for the Honorable Judge Carmen D. Minora and  Judge Thomas J. Munley. Todd also served as an adjunct professor of Law, History, and Political Science at Keystone College and Business Law at Lackawanna College.

Todd also served a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge Lewis W. Wetzel of the the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas.

In 1999, Todd began his private legal practice, founding a law firm focused on personal injury law, criminal defense, and civil litigation.

Todd currently serves as Solicitor for both the Wilkes-Barre Township Planning Commission and Wilkes-Barre Township Zoning Hearing Board. He is also the Executive Director/Solicitor of the Scranton Parking Authority as well as a Political Consultant with The Johns Group Political Consulting, LLC.

Todd is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and The Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Lackawanna Bar Associations, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, and the American Association for Justice.
