I had the worst experience with Attorney De Luca. He misrepresented my best interests in my divorce proceedings. The only thing he was concerned about was getting paid and didn't care about the outcome of the case as long as he got his money. The only thing he was consistent with was his extremely slow response time to phone calls and emails. He refused to do any investigation into my ex-husbands financial status and pushed me to accept a deal that I was not please with. He also threatened to quit as my lawyer if I didn't do things his way. His staff is extremely rude and no one there really seems to know what they are doing.

I contacted this lawyer out of the phone book for debt/bankruptcy guidance. I ended up filing Chapter 13 through him. This attorney was easy to talk initially, but only in the office at consultation. After filing started, it was very hard to reach him and to find out the status things. It required repeated phone calls to his office staff. When I did get to actually speak to Atty DeLuca on the phone, he would always rush the call along, telling me he had to go, that he had other clients/appointments waiting.
The straw that broke the camels back, as they says, was being told he files bankruptcy proceedings only, he will not assist me in negotiation of lowering the rate on my mortgage and other affirmed debt. The negotiation of debt is not part of the bankruptcy, he said and has a separate cost.
This is part of the chapter 13 restructuring process with other lawyers, I have come to find out.
He charges over $4000!!!....For just paperwork to be filed!?! Give me a break! One files Ch.13 because of financial difficulties.
Be careful high end lawyer, fancy office, ...not high in service.
