Stephen W. Saunders

Steve Saunders’ practice is focused on the areas of oil and gas law, environmental and energy law and municipal and land use law. He has over thirty years of experience, first at a Washington, D.C. law firm, then at a Northeastern Pennsylvania regional firm before embarking on a solo career in 2011. Over that time he has achieved the highest peer review rating from the most respected and acknowledged lawyer rating service in the United States, Martindale-Hubbell ©. A peer review rating is an assessment of an attorney’s qualifications and experience by fellow lawyers. He has also received the highest recognition from Martindale-Hubbell when it comes to client satisfaction, based upon reviews of his work by actual clients.

Mr. Saunders is a frequent author, speaker and planner of legal seminars and continuing legal education programs for members of the Pennsylvania Bar. He is also the Editor of "The Law of Oil and Gas in Pennsylvania" (PBI Press 2016, 2nd Edition), the first and only comprehensive treatise of its kind in this field, which received the Association for Continuing Legal Education’s award for Outstanding Achievement in Publications. He serves clients throughout Pennsylvania.
