Review in case against Sarah Street Bar and Grille

Jim Swetz was recommended to our family when my brother was killed by a drunk driver almost 5 years ago. He has had nothing but our family's best interest in heart since the beginning. He explained how the legal system worked and what we had to work with and how long the process would take. He knew n...othing would ever replace my brother, a 20 year old, who lost his life far too soon. He wanted to make sure that the bar that played a huge role in his death would have to own up to what they did. Jim was there every step of the way, from seeing the young man that killed my brother in court, to testifying against him, to testifying against the bar. He was patient and encouraged us all to be patient. He fought for not only our family but for my brother. We, as a family, would highly recommend James Alan Swetz.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
