Mr. Livesay represented Mr. S in a divorce in Stafford County, Virginia. The primary issue preventing settlement of the case was spousal support. Mrs. S sought a large amount of spousal support from Mr ... . S based on her extremely low income. At the pendente lite hearing, Mr. Livesay used the testimony of a vocational rehabilitation expert to establish that Mrs. S was voluntarily underemployed. The court therefore ordered a much lower pendente lite support amount than she was requesting. With the spousal support issue resolved in favor or Mr. S, the case thereafter settled.
