Blake C. Marles

Marles serves as lead counsel for projects as diverse as health care campuses, historic rehabilitation, multi-municipality planned residential developments, condominiums, ground leases, industrial reuses and commercial and industrial land development, zoning and leasing. He represents brokers, purchasers and sellers, developers, municipalities, syndicators and lenders in zoning, development and subdivision matters.

As Chair of the Stevens & Lee Higher Education Practice Group, Marles and the Higher Ed team regularly counsel Colleges, Universities and private secondary schools regarding faculty, tenure, security, student affairs, HR, IT, litigation, Civil Rights and other DOE issues, contracts, buildings and grounds,.endowment and planned giving, and the creation and maintenance of appropriate debt and debt ratings.

Representing municipalites, municipal authorities and those who require assistance with them, Marles has built a regional reputation for quaility service which has extended throughout the eastern 2/3s of Pennsylvania, and has included acting as special counsel in over 30 communities, and as municipal solicitor in others.
