BEWARE!!

Wasted my time for 12 mos, He claims to a lawyer that does not get paid until we win the lawsuit, he does not even get your medical records, even though I signed a paper giving him permission to, had to give him several hundred dollars to have the plaintiff served by a court ordered person I lost m...oney going to him, did not get anything at all He said there was nothing else he could do for me! Wasted an entire year with him!

A lawyer with a great deal to be desired, not trustworthy.

At the lawsuit trial, my testimony described my bicycle as having traveled in the BIKE lane, at five mph, when an unseen motor vehicle ( I was focused on the bike lane ahead and observed only a very fast sequence of colored shadows, felt a wind and and heard the roar of an engine. All of these took p...lace on to my left.) overtook me and passed on my left. As it did so, it drifted into my bike lane and struck the end of my left handlebar grip. The impact knocked me down and caused life changing injuries. The edge of the wheel well cutout, in the motor vehicles forward right fender, sliced into the rubber of my left handlebar grip. The driver behind my bicycle described a very different accident. He testified a bicycle rider flipped over his handlebars in the TRAFFIC lane 25 feet AHEAD of his moving Ford 250 pick up. His front seat passenger described an irreconcilable event. She testified a bicycle rider flipped over his handlebars TWO FEET AWAY, ALONGSIDE their Ford 250 pick up! Sabatine didn't cross examine the witnesses over their preposterous statements; neither did he explain their duplicity at his closing argument to the jury. Three years after the trial I hired another lawyer to review the jury trial transcript. "They hit you", he said of the witnesses in the Ford 250 pick up. Unfortunately the lack of additional evidence to link the Ford 250 with my bicycle and the absence of a bystander's testimony that supported mine combined to stop us. We could not go forward with a malpractice suit. I have a low opinion of Nicholas Sabatine.

poor choice

He talked a good talk but did not keep us informed at all. Nearly 16 months later, we're told he can't do anything for us. "It's not cost effective to litigate". He's been recently charged with tax fraud.
