My client was charged with a murder stemming from a drug deal gone bad in Norfolk. My client long with a male friend met with a drug dealer to obtain cocaine and the dealer drew a gun and attempted to ... rob my client and her friend. The evidence showed that either my client or her male friend also drew a gun and returned fire. In the end the dealer was killed and both my client and the friend fled the scene. Both were charged with the murder and after an analysis of the evidence and pointing out the conflicting eye witness statements to the Commonwealth Attorney I was able to convince the Commonwealth Attorney to drop the charge against my client on the grounds of insufficient evidence.
