Hired Atny Trovato to represent me about a judgement against me due to an earlier divorce. He was extremely non-helpful and seemed more interested in making sure the other parties interests were taken care of than mine. He overbilled tremendously. He billed two hours to reviewed interrogatorie...s which I reviewed and filled out in less than 30 minutes. Furthermore, he did not need to review them at all since he had no need or ever used the information. The only legal advice he ever gave me was to tell the truth at a deposition. When I asked him a legal question he responded "I will have to think about that." and never got back to me.

Inexperienced and it shows. But the worst of it may very well be the lack of integrity. He gave incomplete responses to my inquiries in preparation for court and claimed to have researched an agency ordered to do an eval but failed to obtain vital information. He was rude in his correspondence and... vindictive when I chose to obtain another attorney. He pretended not to know this, made contact with a previous atty and accepted a false statement against me as probable truth. He was provided a tremdous amount to documentation but was not good enough to present it during a hearing. Lack of intrinsic motivation, I believe.
