I was a police officer facing criminal charges after a nasty divorce involving many accusations. My previous attorney told me I should just settle and take a plea deal. Ultimately I was found Not Guilty on all charges and was able to clear my name and resume life thanks to Joe. His staff is incredible and always gave me updates throughout the process. Easily the best. I was facing some serious charges for a second time. Throughout the entire process, Attorney Nahas was responsive, diligent, and very honest about the case. Had a situation that went further than it should have at my house involving family. Me and brother were charged 3 days later. His charges being felony and 2 misdemeanors. I was tied to his case with a simple assault. We went through prelim and Joe found many inconsistencies. Then went through motion ...hearing and only wanted to drop felony charge for my brother and nothing for me. Joe told DA, without consulting us that you don’t have strangulation. Joe said, “looks like we are going to trial, you on board boys?” We said, “yes”. Joe believed in us from the beginning. He never backed down. We went to trial and the jurors acquitted us on all charges as deliberation lasted 15 minutes. I’ve known Joe for many years, great guy and is a bull in the court room. I made a small mistake one night that was alcohol related and the police went crazy with the charges. 5 felonies, 4 misdemeanors and a bunch of citations.
