Assault Bodily Injury / Family Violence. My client was accused of fighting with her aunt. My investigation uncovered evidence that the responding officers had doubts about whether they had enough r ... easonable suspicion to justify an arrest. The prosecution offered Deferred Prosecution (a dismissal agreement that required my client to sign a confession and take 18 BIPP classes.) Client rejected offer and I set it for jury trial. The week of trial, the prosecutor dismissed the case outright with no conditions.
