Jozefa Kristina Jackson

I found Jozefa after working previously with a couple lawyers. She is someone whom quickly became a trusted go-to for legal counsel/advice inside and outside of the courtroom. I valued her opinion on if an issue even warranted court. She is a lawyer that will keep you out of the courtroom if and when... possible if that’s your desire. That is a rare find for many lawyers today. I appreciated her honesty, as she is one who will tell you like it is without the fluff. She is hardworking, dependable, and honest. I truly appreciated her taking time to sit down and lay out all the positives and not so fun realities of divorce and custody. I also never had to wonder what to expect, as she’s great at covering all the possible outcomes if facing court. She is a lawyer who will go to bat for your case and speaks up when you may not feel you are able to. I have recommended her to friends and co-workers in need of services in the Lancaster area on more than one occasion.

I was in the middle of a custody case where I was losing my children, and my former attorney basically told me all was lost and there was nothing to be done. Against tremendous odds, she was able to help me win my case and get my children back. She went above and beyond, working at all hours of the day and night to make sure she had all the information and was prepared to defend me, allowing me to text and call her with emergencies even beyond regular office hours, and coaching me in dealing with my ex as he fought me in court. Jozefa is not only an amazing attorney. She is an amazing human being, she genuinely cares about her clients, and she will do anything to help her clients. I even turned to her for help with another legal situation, after she had won my custody case, and she helped me through that as well. I would highly recommend Jozefa Jackson to anyone and everyone. Jozefa is hands down the best attorney I have ever worked with. In the past 10 years I have had three other attorneys and she is by far the best. I wish I would have met her the first time for custody because I believe if I had things would have been much different than what they were. It took a lot ...of work but she got my situation fixed. The first time I went to custody court with Jozefa, she showed me that I made the right decision by hiring her. She was so prepared and you could definitely see how much time and effort she put into my case. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have primary custody of my son and he wouldn't be thriving the way he is. She is a shark in the court room and has been 100 percent honest with me and hard working for me since the first day I met her. I am so glad that I have her in my corner and am so grateful for all she has done for me and my family. She is the best attorney in Lancaster county in my opinion.

I do not ordinarily write reviews like this, but I just have to say that Jozefa is without a doubt the best attorney I have had the privilege to know and use. I am a repeat customer and after going through a divorce the first time, I did not think I would have to use her services again. She was ama...zing the first time and just as good if not better the second time. She and I met quickly after I contacted her and she went above and beyond the call of duty to get me quick results. She came by the day she got a decision from the judge and personally handed me the papers. she was there when my husband came by and was a rock for me in getting him to leave the premises. She never left until he was gone. Then in an additional show of support and because she did not want me to be alone, she came back later in the day just because she did not want me to be alone in case he came back. I trust her explicitly and her advice has always been sound and professional. i have recommended her to several of my friends and all have been completely satisfied with her results. Hopefully, I will never have to use her services again, but if I do I would not hesitate. She knows what she is doing, knows the law and always acts in a professional way. She has become more than an attorney. I consider her a friend.

Jozefa has been my attorney for years. I recently needed to hire her again which resulted in a custody hearing, and she is currently preparing for my support appeal next week. I normally do not write reviews. I feel a person or product should stand on their own merit. That being said, I felt I n...eeded to write this one because I happened to see the negative review written a couple weeks ago. My experience with Jozefa, historically and over the last few months while preparing for my custody hearing and this month preparing for my complex support appeal hearing, have been nothing but positive. She has never over-charged me, and has spent untold hours preparing for my cases. Actually, she is doing that right now. She is always responsive, even during the last few months when dealing with a serious medical issue of her family member.......sometimes even from the hospital which is located out-of-state. She is professional, and a real force to be reckoned with in court. Jozefa understands that it is hard going through a custody battle. She is accommodating and compassionate, but makes you understand that you need to look past your emotions in order to focus on the things that will win your case. Sometimes I didn't want to hear it, but I listened to her and I am so glad that I did. Prior to the custody battle a couple months ago, my time with my son was rather limited. It is hard going through a custody battle as a man. You are told that there is no gender bias in court, but it is hard to believe that it doesn't actually end up that way. I can tell you that Jozefa was right. I never really thought that I would have so much significant time with my son but now I do. Jozefa made sure I was treated fair, and thanks to Jozefa now my son actually spends significant time with my side family too, who live a few hours away!!!! He finally got to spend a few weeks this summer with his grandparents!! Anybody who thinks back knows spending time with grandma and grandpa are some of the best times of your early life. Thanks to Jozefa, not only does my son have great memories of me that keep on accumulating, but he has memories of my family that will help shape him into a fine young man. Thank you, Jozefa.
