Jonathan Patrick Chieppor

Jonathan Chieppor is a founding partner of the Chieppor and Egner LLC law firm Mr. Chieppor is a long-time resident of Lancaster County. He graduated from Manheim Township High School, after which he attended Saint Joseph’s University and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. While attending university, Attorney Chieppor interned for a local personal injury firm, where he was involved in the litigation of personal injury cases, gaining experience in intake, mediation, and final settlements.

Following his undergraduate years, Attorney Chieppor attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, where he graduated with a joint focus on business litigation and trial advocacy. While at Temple University, Attorney Chieppor clerked at a small law firm where he learned the finer details of running a law firm while also representing clients to one’s greatest ability. During his tenure as a clerk, he participated in building a defense for a client charged with 1st degree murder. Furthermore, Mr. Chieppor gained valuable experience in divorce law, where he handled complex divorce matters, including custody and marital property distribution.

Upon graduating from Temple University, Attorney Chieppor began working for the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, where he litigated everything from summary traffic offenses to the most serious felonies. As a prosecutor, he was the Lancaster County Auto Theft Task Force Supervisor where he was the lead prosecutor on all auto theft investigations and litigation. Furthermore, Mr. Chieppor was a member of the DUI Team and gained extensive experience assessing the strengths and weaknesses of DUI cases, and was undefeated in all his trials relating to DUI’s. Attorney Chieppor’s experience at the District Attorney’s Office has been an invaluable resource to his clients, and he now uses his extensive knowledge of the criminal justice system to further his client's interests.
