Megan H. Stough

Attorney Megan H. Stough, formerly Megan H. Herr, handles Social Security Disability Law (SSDI & SSI cases) and Estate Planning (Wills, Living Wills/Advance Healthcare Directives, Powers of Attorney) matters. Mrs. Stough is a graduate of Widener Law Commonwealth’s part-time evening law school program. While attending law school, she worked full-time for a Lancaster County family law attorney, functioning as both a paralegal and office manager. She gained extensive experience in the family law realm, including divorce, support, and custody matters, as well as both minor and incapacity guardianships and adoption matters. Previously, she was an Associate Attorney at a Lancaster law firm solely handling Social Security Disability cases and also handling estate planning, estate administration, and long-term disability law matters. Mrs. Stough is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Lancaster Bar Association.

Mrs. Stough was born and raised in Lancaster County, having graduated from Manheim Central High School. She graduated magna cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a concentration in business. She is active in the community as the captain of her Relay for Life team, supporting and raising funds for the American Cancer Society. She has also volunteered with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinic to assist in the preparation of tax returns for lower income individuals.

In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, adventuring with her dogs, finding new trails to hike, antiquing, and traveling.
