Biography
Alexis K. Swope is a native of York County. She graduated from York County High School, then obtained an Associate’s Degree from Consolidated School of Business and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Pennsylvania College. While working toward her Bachelor’s Degree, Alexis held the position of a paralegal at a law firm in Lancaster County, where she remained until being accepted to Widener University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
While attending law school, she interned for two semesters at the York County District Attorney’s Office under the supervision of Tom Kearney.
Alexis entered private practice with her father, Donald Swope, in 2011 until his time of retirement in 2018. From 2018 through the end of 2023, Alexis ran the firm of Swope Law.
In January of 2024, Swope Law merged with FrancePaskey to create FrancePaskeySwope, a great combination of attorneys and practice areas with Doug France, Esquire and Ed Paskey, Esquire.
Admitted to practice before the state bar of Pennsylvania, she is also a member of the York and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Alexis is married with four children that keep her spare time to a minimum!
