Thomas Henry Kelley

Based on others' reviews I'm even further perplexed by the treatment/service I experienced with Tom Kelley a few years ago. First, I was slightly unimpressed with his less-than-professional demeanor, but then I was ignored for a week after our initial consultation and after writing a check for a sign...ificant amount of money to retain his services. When I did finally hear back from Kelley (one week after one email I sent), he treated me like I was a crazy and was extremely dismissive of my concerns. I then had to do my own research, contacting another attorney for guidance, and when I reached out to say that we needed to talk about what I learned from that attorney, he attempted to fire me as a client for apparently expecting to talk more than once in one week. At that point, he had done absolutely nothing for me and I was broke. Then I was basically ignored again and ended up "agreeing" to a plea without fully understanding the consequences. I spent over $4000 to be ignored, dismissed, and for Kelley to sign some documents and show up to a 20 minute proceeding. Was I upset throughout the process? Absolutely. I think that's a reasonable reaction to being accused of something that did not happen and never being in any kind of legal trouble. My life has never been and never will be the same after what I experienced. I am truly astonished at positive reviews of Tom Kelley and am left further questioning myself, which is unfair. I do not know what I did to provoke such blatant unprofessionalism and disrespect, but I would never refer anyone to this attorney.

I hired Kelley and did not regret it. He is very knowledgeable in criminal defense,he takes the time to listen and explain your options with giving you the pros ,and cons. Always on time,prepared and sharp in the courtroom. He did for me what other attorneys failed to do after multiple appearances(go...t the results I wanted and frankly goes above and beyond). His experience as a former judge and DA REALLY SHOWS in the court and well known and respected attorney

Tom Kelley is everything I looked for in an attorney. He is extremely knowledgeable, having been a prosecutor and judge for over 20 years. He was sensitive and compassionate to my needs and interests and very tough when the circumstances warranted it. And he was always available, promptly answering m...y phone calls and emails.
