State of North Carolina vs. B.L.
Feb 25, 2016OUTCOME: Case dismissed
The name of the defendant has been abbreviated because of the type of offense and the fact that he was cleared of any wrongdoing and wishes to resume his private life. Defendant was charged with First ... Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, which carries a mandatory prison sentence. Defendant maintained his innocence, and after reviewing the State's case, specifically the computer forensics, I was able to prove that the defendant could not have committed the crime because he was at work during the alleged time the crimes were committed. Once this information was presented to the District Attorney, the charges were dismissed and the Defendant was cleared.
