OUTCOME: Following a two-day trial, my client, the mother, was awarded custody of her daughter and the grandparents' custody petition was denied by the court.

Represented a single mother in a case where maternal grandparents had obtained emergency custody of my client's daughter and were seeking full legal custody. Mother had past issues with substance abuse ... but had completed a rehabilitation program and remained sober for nearly a year.
