Worker, who had received lump-sum workers' compensation settlement with Tennessee employer, brought action against premises owner and others, alleging injuries were the result of defendants' negligence ... and claiming damages. After worker reached settlement with defendants, he dismissed action against them and filed a motion to reduce or extinguish any workers' compensation lien on the proceeds of his settlement. The Superior Court, Guilford County, Ralph Walker, J., reduced lien, and insurer appealed.
