E. Ralph Godfrey

Attorney Ralph Godfrey is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience representing clients in complex personal injury, family law, and estate matters. His practice includes trial, arbitration, and mediation advocacy in cases involving personal injury claims, divorce, child custody and support disputes, estate administration, and estate litigation. Known for his strategic approach, courtroom experience, and practical problem-solving skills, Attorney Godfrey is committed to protecting his clients’ interests both inside and outside the courtroom.

Prior to joining Kelly, Parker & Cohen, LLP, Attorney Godfrey was a partner at a multi-state law firm where he represented a broad range of clients, including individuals, businesses, schools, governmental entities, and insurance carriers. This diverse background provides him with a unique perspective into how opposing parties, insurers, and institutions evaluate and defend claims—an advantage he now uses to advocate effectively for his clients.

Attorney Godfrey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. His educational background in finance and economics enhances his ability to analyze damages, financial disputes, business issues, and complex litigation matters.

He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Maryland, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Western, Middle, and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Attorney Godfrey also regularly handles matters before various Pennsylvania administrative agencies and appellate courts.
