The best of the best

Jim Goldsmith is one of the smartest and knowledgeable attorneys I have ever worked with, particularly in the field of real estate and real estate transactions. He assisted me with issues that arose over employment, real estate law, ethics and a variety of risk reduction measures in my real estate of...fice. Knowing that the best lawsuit is the one that is avoided he worked with me to create ‘best practices’ and policies that protected my agents and my business. When you need him to defend a lawsuit he is strategic and unwavering in his defense. Now I work for the REALTOR trade association and he continues to be a trusted advisor as well as reviewing contracts and assisting in educational programs delivered throughout the state on our behalf.

"Jim Goldsmith is, without doubt, one of the top real estate lawyers in the state. For years he has be the attorney for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. I have taught continuing eduction courses with him for years on numerous real estate related topics from the Agreement of Sale to "Litigating the Failure to Disclose Case." I have been in the court room with him. Jim's broad range of experience and practical common sense make him a winner in the court room and in the office."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
