I filed a motion to suppress evidence found at my client's residence as a result of a warrantless search conducted by the Hamblen County Sheriff's Department. This motion to suppress was denied by the trial court; however, the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals reversed the trial court's decision and suppressed all of the evidence found at my client's home. As a result of this decision, the case was dismissed.

My client on appeal was a Mother who had previously had her parental rights terminated by the Knox County Juvenile Court. On Appeal to the Tennessee Court of Appeals, I successfully argued that the tr ... ial Court lacked subject matter jurisdiction, and as a result the Tennessee Court of Appeals reversed the trial court's termination my client's parental rights.
