Biography
Before attending law school, I owned and operated a restaurant in Colorado for several years. Ownership of this small business provided me with excellent real-world first hand experience in the basics of contract law and small business formation.
During law school I gained further practical experience by participating in Penn State Dickinson's Elder Law and Consumer Protection Clinic, and by clerking for Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice J. Michael Eakin.
During my years of practice I have handled a wide variety of cases from family law and small criminal matters to contract disputes and large estate planning. I have drafted briefs and presented oral arguments at both the Pennsylvania Superior Court and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court; and I have been exposed to procedures and practice in several different counties outside of Cumberland County, most notably York County, Adams County and Franklin County.
