(personal) I was born York County, Pennsylvania and lived in neighboring Adams County until graduating high school from New Oxford High School. Rather than immediately begin college, I chose instead to join the United States Air Force. For a majority of my four years on active duty, I was fortunate to be stationed at Bittburg, Germany. At the conclusion of my commitment in 1988, I received my Honorable discharge and began my formal education in earnest. I found that my years of military service, and likely the vast experiences absorbed from living abroad and traveling extensively while stationed in Europe, matured me some, so that I was focused and driven as a college student.
As it worked out, I returned to Adams County for college, having decided to attend Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, a small "liberal arts" college. I excelled as a student at Gettysburg College. This was, in large part, attributable to the outstanding faculty, abundant resources and opportunities, and exceptional facilities available at Gettysburg College. But more than that, I found I was enthralled, enlightened, enlivened, and always encouraged by a certain few professors, whose courses, guidance and knowledge I pursued with vigor. Within three years, in May 1991, I graduated second in my class, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude with a major in Political Science and a Latin minor.
By that point in time, I probably had known for several years that I my "calling" was pointing to law school. Despite my predilection and anticipation for law school, I nonetheless opted to take one year after college, during which time I moved to Dauphin County, Pennsylvania and worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court in Harrisburg. That experience, less than one year later, opened the door of opportunity again which allowed me to accept a job offer as Administrator for the Chapter 13 Trustee’s program for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
But law school was not to wait any longer either! The subsequent four years were probably the most challenging consecutive years to date. I actually decided to work full-time while attending law school in the evenings and weekends. It was an arduous schedule to maintain. And while at times it was beyond exhausting to met the demands of both my full-time professional employment while maintaining, on average, four courses a semester in law school, the sacrifices proved to be so worthwhile and rewarding. Four years after starting the dual-paced existence, I received my Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law in 1996. I sat for, and passed, the Pennsylvania bar exam administered that same summer, and was fortunate to be admitted to practice without delay in November, 1996.

BANKRUPTCY. Atttorney Tyler reviewed a discharged bankruptcy from 2008.
Tyler reviewed a bankruptcy that was discharged in August 2008. Several mistakes had been made on the original bankruptcy. In general, I viewed attorneys with suspicion. Taking money and not completing the work. Attorney Tyler reviewed the schedules on the 2008 bankruptcy and confirmed what I ha...

Not the average attorney!
Everyone in the office is great, unlike any lawyer's office I've experienced. Atty. Tyler really knows what he is doing and is able to explain things so that I understand. I'm glad I took the time to consult with him. The initial consultation was almost 90 minutes and very informative. It seemed a...
