Tempered, self-interested

After many decades of my family's business being with this law firm, I could not be happier to finally part ways. I entered this office many times, prepared with questions about contracts or other ongoing matters. Each time, The office was unprepared. Digging through files, asking me questions they s...hould have already known the answers to... Always trying to cover up by making me feel like I was the less intelligent, unknowing party. When I chose to handle a matter privately, instead of including this lawyer, they made their anger toward it abhorrently obvious. After scheduling an appointment to handle an estate, the lawyer made it clear upon my arrival they no longer wished to represent me for the reason I came, but still wished to represent my business. After that, it felt like nothing but an honor to no longer be a client of this firm. Please keep your own business and family safe by staying away.

The only Lawyer with Alzheimers

When you hire a lawyer to do a job, you would think the outrageous fees you pay would mean they would actually work and complete a job to the fullest of their ability. Definitely not a fact with Mr Mason. He's like the kid in law school that just drifted through copying others work and became license...d and now believes he is entitled to extreme amounts of money to file 1 or 2 papers with the courts. Then tell you everything else that was supposed to be done isnt his job and wasnt apart of the agreement at the time of hire. He is very ignorant and just out of touch with his profession. I think it is time to hang it up and check into a retirement home so someone can help you when you forget you are actually supposed to breath.

Incompetent

For several years I used David Mason to complete title searches and property closings. It was a struggle to get him to return phone calls or keep to deadlines. However, he eventually got the job done effectively. Then I hired him to do some corporate work. Big mistake. He did not keep my best in...terest in mind and left me open to future litigation. When that litigation finally came I saw an attorney in court who was way out of his league. He was unprepared and completely incompetent.

Always the consumate professional

I have used Dave Mason on many occasions for legal advice. He was always prompt to reply and showed the utmost professionalism while maintaining a personal touch.

If you don't mind waiting a long time

As far as I can tell he knows what he's doing, but is the slowest lawyer that I've ever heard of. Don't count on him getting back to you anytime soon. I've been trying to close an estate now for well over a year. I can't even get him to return my calls.
