Paid $1,500 retainer fee to represent me on a misdemeanor charge after which at my court appearance she asked was I a paid client or was she my public defender. Her and the DA spend more time flirting and joking with each other then she does on your case . Luckily I paid close attention because she h...ad paperwork for me to sign to a plea deal that was nothing of the sort of what I agreed to . If you don’t want to go to jail don’t hire this woman .

After almost 3 years and wasted money I got nothing! She never returns calls, completely unprofessional. You will get emails in the beginning that are great and you truly think she is fighting for you. Then the game changes. She takes her time, drags things out, and truly I think she gets paid from b...oth sides. She does not end up fighting for you, she ends up fighting for the $$$! That is all it is to her. She completely drained me. I had to fight on my own for my kids, and thankfully I realized she wasn't fighting before it was too late. I tried fighting for my "material things" and that ended up being the biggest joke after 3 years. Do not waste your time or your money on her.

I reached out to Ms. Cooper after a family member referred me to her. Through my process with dealing with child custody, she acted professional and was always attentive to any questions or needs that I had pertaining to my case. I'm not sure why the other reviews on here are so critical, I guess peo...ple look for a scapegoat when their day in court isn't favorable ... Stephanie really stepped up to plate for me, having to drive an hour and a half to my ex's town to represent me. Sitting together in the room with Ms. Cooper, arguring back and forth between my ex's lawyer, really gave me a clear understanding that she knows what she's doing and I definetly felt I got the best outcome for my situation.

went in blind, knowing nothing about legal matters, got hung on a first time criminal charge, could have done so much more, didn't bother.....needless to say, doing jail time, shouldn't have ever came to it, was more friendly with the DA than me as a client.....please....go elsewhere...or you will be... hugely disappointed
