David B. Consiglio conducts a general law practice focusing on the areas of civil litigation, municipal and school law, workers' compensation, and labor and employment law. David is a partner at Miller, Kistler & Campbell and has been with the firm since 1998.
David has practiced law in Pennsylvania since 1994, and he is licensed to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Western, and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. David is also licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland. David has practiced law throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland, in addition to handling cases in Ohio, West Virginia, Texas, and North Carolina.
David's experience is broad. His civil litigation practice has included dealing with such varied issues as civil rights, tort and accident claims, contracts, constitutional law, and employment matters, to name a few. He represents multiple school districts, boroughs, townships, and municipal authorities in Centre County, Huntingdon County, Clearfield County, and Cambria County, and he acts as the Solicitor for school districts and municipalities in Centre County, Huntingdon County, Clearfield County, and Cambria County.
David has handled workers' compensation cases at all levels, including proceedings before workers' compensation judges, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Board, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. His client base is primarily in central Pennsylvania, but David has represented clients throughout Pennsylvania.
David graduated from the University of Notre Dame, summa cum laude, in 1989, where he also clerked for the Honorable Stephen Platt. He subsequently graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Law, cum laude, where he was a member of the International Law Journal. David resides with his wife, Lisa, in Hollidaysburg, where the firm maintains a satellite office. David and Lisa have four children and are active in the local sporting community.
