That last review is funny because Militello hasn’t been accepting clients in a year and a half.

Unprofessional and misleading

Wish I could choose zero stars. Presented himself as willing and able to help as a defense attorney but then ghosted my follow up calls. Unprofessional and misleading

unprofessional

Matt said he would take my case and was confident that I would win. I did my leg work and gathered everything he needed even paying for my hundreds if pages worth of medical records. Then matt decided to fall off the face of the earth. He has been avoiding me for 4 months now. My mom called and was a...ble to speak to him and he made up a bunch of lies why he wasn't returning my calls. That was a month ago and still haven't heard from him.

Saved my entire future

My entire future was basically in Mr. Militello's hands when he represented me on a criminal matter. At that time, I had never even been giving a speeding ticket before, yet charged with a serious crime. Matt talked to me like a real person and calmed me down, and then, as quickly as I was freaking... out about it all, he made the whole thing basically go away. I will be forever thankful.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
