MacKenzie Caitlin Smith Taylor

As a victim in a crime I was referred to NorthWestern Legal Services by the Crime Victim Center. I was assigned to MacKenzie Taylor. I had many questions, she was certain the PFA hearing would go in my favor under the circumstances so she didn't spend much time with me. After the little bit of time s...he did spend with me, she never contacted me back when I reached out by phone for questions prior to the hearing. During the hearing she allowed the defendants attorney to come in like hot fire and try to intimidate me and get an emotional response from me, which he did, but she did nothing to combat it or truly fight for my safety or to even show the judge evidence or fight for the PFA to stand. She allowed for it to get denied and then still has not returned my calls since the final hearing for questions I had regarding this outcome prior to my preliminary hearing. I was NOT impressed at all and feel she really was just there because it was her job, not because she truly cared about me as her client or again my safety with the temporary emergency PFA I was granted. I would never recommend this attorney or use her again sadly.
