About me

Christopher A. Papa, Esquire has a true passion for helping people solve their legal problems and challenges. For the past six years he has focused his practice on and successfully completed and litigated hundreds of estate and trust, real estate, and family law cases. Chris also serves as the assistant solicitor for the Zoning Hearing Board of the City of New Castle.

Chris understands the needs of entrepreneurs and real estate investors, because he is both. Chris, with his wife Joanna, own and operate Greenwood Street LLC, a real estate investment company, with property holdings in Allegheny, Washington, and Lawrence counties. Chris, in the past, has also started and operated several other business ventures, including a non-profit educational corporation in the City of Pittsburgh and an Italian ice cream parlor (Gelateria) in the City of New Castle.

In his community, Chris was elected and served two terms as the President of the Board of Trustees of the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh. He also served as a board member of the Lawrence County Red Cross and is an active member of Saint Vitus Catholic Parish, the Lawrence County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Chris graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the University of Pittsburgh and ranked in the top 10 of his class at Duquesne University School of Law. While at Duquesne, Chris was chosen for the prestigious Trial Moot Court Team and the Community and Economic Development Legal Clinic. While a New Castle Red Hurricane football player, Chris was awarded the “Rudy Award” for outstanding Character, Courage, Contribution and Commitment.

Personally, Chris lives with his family and many "creatures great and small" on a small farm in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He enjoys playing the Cello, reading, running, gardening, and cleaning the barn. Learn more about Chris at his Law Blog.
