Years ago I met this attorney during one of the lowest points of my life. I had just separated from my husband, felt hopeless and lost, and came to her for help. She told me everything I wanted to hear, that I’d get full custody, lots of money in the divorce, that I could relocate and start fresh. It... all sounded too good to be true and it was. After our meeting I asked her to send me her fees and said I wanted to hire her. From that day on she completely disappeared. She never answered her phone, never replied to my emails, just vanished. I was desperate back then and tried to reach her so many times. Now years later I see her reviews, one star after another. It turns out I wasn’t the only one she did this to. She didn’t take my money, but she took something worse, the little hope I had left at that time. I truly believe God protected me. Stay away. Find someone honest and professional.

1 star because there is no way to give a lower rating. I retained Attorney Thurner for a custody case. She kept billing me for “communications”. These communications involved me requesting documents that she charged me for “working” on, yet were never received by me, nor were they presented in court.... She would not return emails or phone calls. She would cancel meetings due to personal reasons, then charge me for the time she spent cancelling the meeting . She would give me a date that she would be calling or sending me documents. Neither of these things happened. When I would finally get her on the phone, she would give me a bunch of excuses and then charge me again for communications. She told me she filed a petition in court, which was not true. She even had her receptionist send me an email telling me “she was checking on why it was taking so long” for the judge to rule on it.. Not only did she not file the petition she told me she did, she never even entered her appearance on my behalf. This was a horrible, expensive, time stealing experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It wasted so much of my time and money. For six months she lied to me and did not do any of the work she said she was doing. I do not recommend anyone use this attorney. There’s a reason she keeps bouncing from firm to firm.

Horrible attorney! Said she would file petitions and never filed them. She never picked up the phone. Attorney represented me and did not do anything and misrepresented a lot of information and missed appointments. I will highly recommend that you look elsewhere before this person represents you bec...ause they do not do anything and they lie to people and try to just collect fees for doing nothing. People can you please not get this attorney? She created several damages and to me and didn’t file in time which might cost more damages. People out there BEWARE OF THIS PERSON!
