Michael Perry Zunder

Just when ya thought 'Johnny Cochran' was dead, I found him right in Butler County!!! Real name: Michael Zunder. I don't often write long reviews, but this one is SO necessary, & I suggest you read it all if you're in search of first class representation, eh?! After 3 other lawyers, 2 being ab...solute clowns (+1 that fixed up mess from 1 previous) we were at the point of hopelessness. + accrued debts over $20k/14 mos incarceration/house arrest. The possibility of anything turning out in our favor was pretty much a snowball's chance in hell! The cards stacked against us: 4-8 years in prison, plus much more if not rejected! Michael Zunder stood by us, walked us through, & defended this case like the thorough, respected, knowledgeable, skilled & experienced attorney that he is. He chose to defend EVEN at such a late point in the case, which we brought to him AFTER it had been represented by multiple 'lawyers' who did nothing but ignore, abandon, & complicate the case. The attorneys previous to Zunder couldn't fight their way out of a ripped paper bag, & they never even tried to. The lawyers BEFORE Zunder were thieves in disguise. *(Zunder & Associates is the opposite, & truly worth every single nickel & loonie paid!!!!)* Zunder's position to defend for us was 10 x more complicated, but he did it anyway & we're forever thankful!!! In the end, Zunder was thrown an unexpected curveball, but handled it eloquently & skewed the outcome to be in our favor, & it wasn't simple, this was something that got real sticky, real fast. There was a very brief moment that I panicked- this curveball wasn't something most cases have happen- & I didn't know it could be fixed. --- BOY, was I wrong!!!!! Zunder handled it all by fighting to the END, never giving up, like a REAL DEFENSE attorney is meant to do! Not only that, he also came to me & took the time to tell me he was going to take care of things, not the next day, not the next week, but immediately. (It's a shame how many attorneys put you to the side & expect you to just wait til whenever, even if you're in jail!) WITHIN THE HOUR, I lie to you not, everything was squared up & sorted! To describe Michael Zunder- he is attentive, responsive, detailed, smart, aggressive when necessary, compassionate, caring, understanding & hilarious! He transforms a nerve-wracking, serious meeting about the possibility of life being over as you know it, into a calm discussion that puts you more at ease than you've been in a long time, while still managing to be straightforward, tell you the facts, tell you the downfalls of your case, & share jelly beans with you! He knows the law through & through, he doesn't sit & read off numbers of subsections & statutes like some amateur, instead, he defends like a magician! He doesn't tell you or show you how he does what he does, he just does it, that is what makes Michael Zunder truly magical. (He doesn't make you feel like sending 100 emails & texts telling info bits with the case, if he needs info, he finds it on his own or he'll call you. If he calls, it's because only you have the piece of info needed, otherwise he's working his magic on your case!) He's the best attorney I've EVER witnessed, with a real personality, placing real efforts in helping you laugh your worries away, because he actually cares. Brought our case to Zunder with 4-8 years prison on the table, & left the case with a few months house arrest & more than 1/2 the charges thrown out. If that doesn't tell you to put your money where HIS mouth is, (whether or not you prefer his word choices!), then you'll remember this review & kick yourself for not taking my advice. Good Luck! He helped with a settlement for 40% but withheld $5000 because he said the assistant office may come after some of the money but I am disabled and he should have known that is not the case. I later need help with a duo case, he charged me $5000 right off the top and then he got really expensive, taki...ng advantage of my situation. He was not prepared for court. It was like my case was at the mercy of the judge. He didn't even try. I talked to other inmates and they had the same kind of experience.
