so demeaning
went in for a consult for custody. she seemed in a hurry to begin with and gave her details and then she started yelling at me and berating me. Then she said I couldn't afford her without even asking anything about my income. An absolutely demeaning and traumatizing experience.

Replied last October 28, 2023You are correct that I graciously refunded your consultation fee to your mother after spending an hour with you on a same day emergency appointment and advised that the money would be better spent with a treatment provider. With your consent, I then referred you to a third party and made that contact while you were in the office and I followed up with that individual late Friday evening with the understanding that your matter would be handled first thing Monday morning. I absolutely was brutally honest with you without ever raising my voice and stated the same to you regarding your situation based upon over 20 years of experience of handling similar matters before the courts. I suggest you not handle your private matters on social media because it only harms your family. Your business is your business.
