also known as Jeffrey L. Thomas, Jeff Thomas
I was born and raised in Windber, PA and am a 2004 graduate of Windber Area High School. I attended Penn State University for my undergraduate studies, where I received dual degrees in history and political science. I was also an active member in THON, Penn State’s 48 hour dance marathon that raises money for pediatric cancer research. After college, I enlisted in the PA Army National Guard, where I currently serve as a paralegal specialist for the 2nd Brigade 28th Infantry Division JAG Section. I attended Duquesne University School of Law and during my time there, I interned with the Allegheny County DA’s Office in their homicide unit and also spent 1 month studying Chinese government and law in Beijing, China. After law school, I spent approximately 1 year clerking for Judge Farley Toothman, the president judge in Greene County. I am married and have a 3 month old daughter and together my wife and I made the decision to move back to the Johnstown area because we recognize that it is a great place to raise a family. I am an avid college football fan, enjoy spending time with family and friends, and am looking forward to getting to better know and serve the people of the Johnstown area.

Attorney Thomas is professional, ethical, and an advocate to his clients. Attorney Thomas is timely and efficient. We chose Attorney Thomas for work in business contracts. He was more than able/willing to accommodate meetings and phone calls during hours that are outside of the traditional work day. ...

I would give negative stars if that was an option. Attorney Thomas was unprepared throughout every phase of handling my divorce, to the point that I felt it necessary to hire another attorney. I did not discover that I was over charged for services until 18 months after hiring Attorney Thomas. ...
John, It's unfortunate that things did not work out between us. However, it takes two to tango and quite frankly none of the accusations you've made are accurate. You were extremely rude to our staff, would burst into fits of rage when things did not go the way you wanted them to, and refused to listen to my advice. I continued to represent you for as long as I could, despite the fact that you failed to pay your bill, which was substantially less than what any other attorney in town would have charged you, but it got to a point where I could no longer ethically represent you. I hope everything works out for you and that you are able to get your divorce finalized.
