OUTCOME:

Clients have children who may be entitled to state and/or federal benefits in the future. Wills were drafted providing for Supplementary Benefits Trusts, which will not be countable assets for Medic ... aid purposes. A toggle was included to allow for an effective conversion to a standard temporary support trust in the event that the child's special needs prove to be less incapacitating in the future.
