I needed a local lawyer to represent me in ongoing issues which involved emergency custody of my child. After consulting with a few trusted advisors I decided to contact the law office of David Leake as he was recommended as a young and upcoming attorney who has been busy building a solid reputation ...in the local legal community. On meeting David I was impressed with his knowledge of the law and with the professional way in which he conducted business. I asked him to represent me, and I have never regretted that decision. As I stated he has been professional and knowledgeable but also very personable and caring about my case. His office manager Laura is fantastic to work with when scheduling and really provides her own personal touch to the law firm. In October, my daughter was incarcerated in Somerset County Jail for a holding violation and few outstanding warrants that she had not taken care of in Philadelphia. While in jail, she was actually referred by inmates to David Leake. Being new residents of Philadelphia and to Pennsylvania in general..., and having never hired a defense attorney, we were petrified. I called Attorney Leake and he went to see my daughter right away. The professionalism of David Leake and his assistant goes beyond words. They were efficient, always kept me in the loop and were able to resolve much more for my daughter than expected. Without him, she would still be in Somerset jail. My only wish is that I could have met him in person, to let him know how much we appreciated his extraordinary expertise, professionalism and assistance.
