David Thomas Leake

Attorney David T. Leake is the owner of the Law Office of David T. Leake, Esq. in Somerset, Pennsylvania.  His office is located within one block of the Somerset County Courthouse.  He was previously an associate of Attorney Joseph Policicchio, who retired and transfered his practice to Attorney Leake.

Previously employed as a Judicial Law Clerk in the 16th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, Attorney Leake  gained knowledge of the legal system from the judicial perspective. 

He attended Duquesne University School of Law as an evening student working full time throughout law school.  

​Upon graduation he received numerous awards for excellence in trial and appellate advocacy, as well as one of the most prestigious graduation awards called the John Sciullio Peer Excellency Award, a peer voted award for outstanding work ethic and integrity. He was also inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honors society for courtroom advocacy, and won a National Moot Court Competition.
