Benjamin Franklin Goodwin

After many free consultations where I was promised miraculous results, that could not truly be gaurantees I called the law offices of Goodwin, Como [redacted]. They didn't tell me what they thought I wanted to hear but gave me their honest opinion and legal advice. I ended up going with Mr. Goodwin a...nd my gut was right. I had a detainer for a cop in one county that was over 8yrs old, a warrant/detainer for misdeamenor charges in another county that I never went to court for and 6 in another county for summary offenses. I didn't even know where to start. Mr. Goodwin guided me step by step on what I needed, what actions I needed to take and represented me very well. He got my detainer lifted (even though I ran for 8yrs) and then walked me to the probation officer I absconded on and talked with her on my behalf. I went to court yesterday and thanks to Mr Goodwin working out a deal with the probation officer and DA the VOP was dismissed and they allowed me to walk out of court free and clear. Not on probation, not any ramifications just done and over. I spent so many years stressing and always looking over my shoulder it's amazing it's all over. I am so grateful and will recommend Mr Goodwin to everyone i know in need of honest legal representation.

Attorney Goodwin is the best attorney I've ever had. I made some mistakes as a juvenile and my parents found me some pretty poor attorneys. When I got my DUI on my 22nd birthday, I was scared to say the least. I thought I had put all of my former issues behind me. With nowhere to turn, I knew I h...ad to find a good attorney this time. I know he is a busy man because he practices in all areas of the law, but he really helped me through this last DUI and was able to get me on the ARD Program. I recently hired Attorney Goodwin to represent me for an ARD too but I had a completely different experience than the last guy (or girl) on here. He not only cared about my concerns and answered all of my questions but he took the time out to explain the entire process to me. I asked around about... attorneys and met with several before I decided to go with Attorney Goodwin. 2 people I talked to had retainers that were much less but I always think....you get what you pay for. That was another important factor before I picked him. I didn't want someone to take my money, do the bare minimum and just be another face in their crowd. I had no problems whatsoever and looking back on the entire process am so very glad that he was fighting on my behalf. In the end, he saved me a lot of money too. I hope I never need another criminal defense attorney but if I do - I know where I am going and I will send all of my family and friends there if they need one too. I have had to use an attorney several times.....I have to admit Ben is the best.....Got my money very quickly, was always available to talk or call me back when not available.....Very prompt, knew what he was doing which resulted in me having to take only 2 trips to his office, one to do all the pape...rwork and the second to pick up my check. The most important thing to me was that he keep me in the loop through the whole thing, so often attorneys don't tell you anything and leave you clueless, but Ben is on top of everything and made sure I knew every step as it happened! 10 stars for me!
