Bobby G. fathered a child he did not know of. Child was born to troubled mother and removed by social services. Family wanted to adopt. In course of termination of mother's parental rights proceedin ... g, Bobby G. was discovered. Bobby G.'s rights were terminated for failing to assume parental responsibility. Issue in briefing was whether this was constitutional, but court ruled on statutory/evidence basis that Bobby G. should have been allowed to present evidence of his attempts to parent after he discovered his biological relatiohship to child.
