Tammy Singleton-English

TAMMY SINGLETON-ENGLISH is the founder of Singleton-English Law Offices, which concentrates in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Business Law, and Taxation of Individuals, Trusts and Estates. Ms. Singleton-English has worked with clients whose net worth ranges from a few hundred thousand to several million dollars.  Prior to founding Singleton-English Law Offices, she was a member of the Estates & Trusts Department at Cohen & Grigsby, P.C., and a member of the Personal Financial Services Group in the Tax Department of Coopers & Lybrand, LLP, in Pittsburgh.  Upon graduation from law school, she practiced law with the Cleveland, Ohio firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold, where she specialized in Estates and Trusts law.  She graduated from Bucknell University, cum laude with a BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  After completing her undergraduate degree, Ms. Singleton-English worked as a CPA with Ernst & Young and was admitted as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1987.  She was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio in 1991 and in Pennsylvania in 1992.  Ms. Singleton-English is a frequent speaker on estate planning, probate, and tax topics before charitable, professional, and civic groups.  She is a member of several professional associations including the American, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County Bar Associations; the Ohio State Bar Association; the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh; and the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.  Ms. Singleton-English currently serves on the Board of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and is a Council member for the Solo and Small Firm section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.  She holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
