DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS ATTORNEY

Joseph Hudak is listed here as suspended, but he is no longer, he was reinstated by the PA BAR and is practicing again. This lawyer is a con artist, he will sound like the nicest hardest fighting lawyer you've ever had, he will answer all your phone calls and even come to see you, until you pay him.... Then he will do nothing on your case, he waits until the last minute to do everything, all his work is half-hearted, and frankly terrible quality; man should not be practicing law at all. I've heard his talent lies in his trial ability, but his actual knowledge of the law is horrendous, I pity anyone serving a life sentence who has hired him for an appeal---you will lose your appeal before you started it. Additionally, the man consistently abandons clients, he was accused of this several times in the past, and even charged criminally for taking money to represent clients and then abandoning them; someone he was exonerated of the charges, but there is more than one person who has accused him this practice. I actually met one in person who claimed the man totally quit coming to his court hearings after he paid him and the Ct. had to give him a Court appointed. Lastly, regarding his actual legal ability, specifically on appeals, I cant find record of a single Criminal appeal he actually won. Personally, I will regret the day for the rest of my life I paid this man the only money I had, money I could've paid to a real lawyer, and he filed complete garbage. All I can emphasize is, please don't be fooled, there is people on here who wrote positive reviews, I don't know their situation, but If I was you, and If I could go back, I would not risk it. The man has many accusations of outright abandoning clients at the trial stage, and for appeal, the man horrendous.
