Biography
Robert Bauer began his career as an Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He earned his law degree at George Washington University Law School while working full-time and has gone on to become one of the foremost intellectual property lawyers in Western Pennsylvania. He is respected by his peers and entrusted by his clients with their valuable intellectual property. As one example of his work, Mr. Bauer obtained the only (non-standards related) patent successfully asserted against Apple through trial and appreal anywhere in the world in the recent famous "smartphone wars" between Samsung and Apple. The technology in the patent is over 15 years old, but stood the test of time thanks to the expertise of Mr. Bauer.
