Phenomenal Attorney

When hiring an attorney, you should consider not only their ability to navigate the legal system, but also their professional reputation and whom they know. Tom Will is widely respected by members of the bench and bar in Pittsburgh. His strategy is strikingly refreshing for a lawyer— he is amiable an...d genuine with everyone, but still advocates vigorously for his clients. My case in particular required delicate negotiations with the DA's office, and Mr. Will was able to explain my position and get the absolute best possible result. I am a fairly anxious person, but shortly into the process I actually felt most comfortable leaving the matter in Mr. Will's hands. I did not feel the need to Google the law because he explained everything so well. He is responsive when you need to contact him, and he spends the time making sure that you understand the process. I see other reviews that say that Mr. Will thoroughly explains his strategy and whether he thinks he can get the intended result, and I wholeheartedly agree. Within minutes of meeting him in person, he explained his plans and told me that he thought my odds were good. He was actually proactive and already prepared little steps in case I approved his plan. From that point on, I knew I was in good hands— great hands. I asked a few questions about the future and how to wrap up little aspects of my case. He knows the system so well that he actually told me what time of month I should go to the courthouse to schedule various matters, so that they would line up with everything else going on. I do not have social media and I almost never leave reviews online, but I specifically wanted to take the time to tell other people: Tom Will is easily one of the best attorneys in Pittsburgh, and likely the best criminal attorney. I can't thank him enough for everything.

Best Lawyer in Pittsburgh

After consulting with several criminal lawyers downtown, I called Thomas Will. I was looking for a lawyer who specialized in lifting detainers. My son was on probation and arrested on 1/6/19 on a warrant regarding new criminal charges and held on a detainer for technical violations as well. The first... preliminary hearing was held January 14th and the filing party did not show; therefore, the preliminary hearing was rescheduled for January 28th. Filing party did not show again, charges were dismissed. Gagnon 1 hearing was held on January 17th and detainer was not lifted. After the criminal charges were dismissed, we had no idea when the Gagnon 2 hearing would be held and my son would have to sit in jail for who knows how long. When I contacted Tom he was outright honest, he said that he would not take my money unless he felt confident about a favorable outcome. He asked a few questions, told me his plans and within a week the motion was filed and my son will be released tomorrow. Thank you so much.

"I have known Tom for over a decade. During this time, I have referred numerous people to him who have had various criminal charges filed against them. All of these people have been very pleased with Tom's representation and the results which he has obtained on their behalf. Tom is very knowledgeable, smart, and can think on his feet. He is well-respected in the legal community. He is also very ethical. He is an excellent lawyer, and I have no hesitancy whatsoever with referring anyone to him who has a criminal issue that they need help with.
